No matter what festivities you choose to attend this fall, food is likely top of mind because it makes any event a hundred times better. In our opinion, the best fests are the ones that are actually centered around eating some of the best food in the state. One of Georgia's most-anticipated food festivals, Taste of Atlanta 2019, is coming in hot this October.

The long-awaited, mouth-watering wonderland of all the flavors imaginable is going to take your tastebuds by storm as you eat your way through the city, all in one place. The 18th annual Taste of Atlanta festival is back by popular demand to bring you the best bites from the city's top restaurants on Oct. 18 to 20 at Historic Fourth Ward Park.

The overwhelming amount of dining options in ATL make it super hard to choose where to eat, so Taste of Atlanta is here to make it easy for you to try it all (at an affordable price, might we add). The event will feature foods from over 75 restaurants, tons of booze to go along with it, live music, games, cooking classes/demos and more.

You can take your palette on a journey of flavor with eats from ATL hot spots including Buena Vida Tapas and Sol, Joella's Hot Chicken, The Mad Greek and Poke Burri.

You can expect to taste a whirlwind of flavors with crazy good fare like jerk chicken quesadillas, chorizo stuffed dates and fried goat cheese.

This food tour will turn you from food amateur to connoisseur all in one weekend. The $30 general admission ticket grants you access to all food district tasting tents, 10 taste points (to sample the food) and access to all the bars throughout the park. Each additional taste point is only $1. There will be live DJs on set throughout the weekend for everyone to enjoy while they eat their hearts out.

If you want to go all out, there is a 21+ VIP opening night party on Friday for $75 that includes all food, wine, beer and cocktail tastings. The VIP tickets for Saturday and Sunday include exclusive complimentary food and drinks from vendors apart from the main event. You can scope out all ticket packages here.

If your stomach is growling for some more food-filled fun in Georgia, flavor your palette at this new unique restaurant in Atlanta that serves shark meat or taste over 75 cultural foods at The Atlanta Night Market next month.
