Mardi Gras is right around the corner, which means that people all over the world are gearing up for some crazy festivities. Luckily, Atlanta is no different. If you're looking for a way to celebrate Mardi Gras in Atlanta, a pop-up bar may be your best option. The Atlanta restaurant partnership team Big Citizen is going to be hosting Mardi Gras-themed pop-up bars at two of their restaurants: Bon Ton and Tapa Tapa. These pop-ups are open now, and you can check them out in the Midtown area. Bon Ton is a popular Viet-Cajun restaurant that focuses on a fusion of Vietnamese and creole and Cajun dishes. This spot will be serving up cocktails named after famous New Orleans music. Look for creative drink names like "Do Whatcha Wanna" and "Iko Iko" on the specialty cocktail lists. Tapa Tapa is going with a different theme for its Mardi Gras festivities. All of its specially created cocktails are going to be named after Mardi Gras "krewes" that march in the parade. There are even going to be five cocktails named after international carnival krewes. This gives you a chance to try cocktails inspired by different parts of the world. You may want to try the "Krewe Zulu-Nola Julep Sour" or the "Krewe Rio De Janeiro Brazil Hurricane." View this post on Instagram Hey guys!!
