This Famous Austin Bar Just Opened A 'Pandemic Pop-Up' With Boozy Treats
With daiquiris to-go!
If you're from Austin, then you've likely heard of Nickel City once or twice before. The beloved bar is constantly putting on fun events to make their community smile, like when they transformed into Moe's from The Simpsons, for example. Now, this Austin bar sells daiquiris to-go as part of their "pandemic pop-up" with Delray Cafe that'll only be around for a limited time.
Nickel City opened "The Daiq Shack" at Delray Cafe on Tuesday, May 5, and plans to stick around for the remainder of the month.
This pandemic pop-up is selling an array of frozen daiquiris and blended cocktails that are perfect for this time of year. We all need something to cool off with when it comes to Texas temps, after all!
You can order online for pick-up or delivery straight to your porch, and can also order in-person at the food truck on-site at Delray Cafe.
Since all legal (for now) to-go and delivery alcohol sales require the purchase of food, in addition, Delray is selling chicken wings, chili dogs, cheese curds, and more to go along with your tasty drink.
As far as the flavors for the daiquiris go, you won't be disappointed in the options.
Irish Coffee,, Miami Vice, and Cha-Cha are some of the more popular daiquiri flavors to choose from.
All of the above are priced at $12, which isn't bad when you consider the size of them.
DIY mixed drinks and cold beer are also on the menu, in case you're not quite in the mood for.

Order soon, because this exciting pop-up won't be around forever!
