As Texans, it's an unspoken rule that we all love cheese, no matter what form it comes in. Luckily for us cheese lovers, there are all sorts of ways to consume it, and one of our favorites is in between two toasted pieces of bread. That's right, we're talking grilled cheese, and this coming fall season, Austin's Grilled Cheese Festival will be back yet again to give us our fill.

It may be early, but we're already counting down the days until next year's Austin Grilled Cheese Festival.

On Saturday, October 3, the wait will finally be over as that is the official set date for the festival.

We're all familiar with a "save the date", only this time the only things getting married are our mouths to some grilled cheese.

Tickets will be on sale soon and if you visit this link, you can RSVP by signing up to their email list which will get you access to early bird pricing.

The less money you spend on the tickets, the better. You'll want to save it for all the extra fun at the festival.

As of right now, the festival will be split into two sessions. One early in the day, and one later in the day, that way it doesn't get too crowded.

Within those sessions, you'll be split between GA and The Big Cheese, which is basically VIP.

GA gets you entry into the event, unlimited sampling of grilled cheese and an all-inclusive open bar.

The Big Cheese (VIP) gets you everything above plus early entry, a private bar, seating, and restrooms.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

The event is 21+ which means there won't be a kid in sight.

In the months leading up to the event, be sure to check out all the cool festivities Austin is putting on until then.

Plus, keep an eye on their official Facebook event page for any updates!
