Austin's New Pink Mexican Spot Is A Pink Paradise

It doesn't matter what gender you identify as, there's no denying that pink is an amazing color. Whether it's painted on your walls, all over your clothes, or just on your phone case, there's not a single bad place to strut whichever shade of the color you like best. A new pink Mexican fare spot in Austin covered head-to-toe in the classic color proves just that with pink tacos, drinks, and more! Taquero Mucho is a new favorite among Austinites thanks to its adorable scenery and even tastier food. Just last month the restaurant opened its doors for the first time, and we don't ever want them to close. If you're familiar with and love Gabriela's Downtown, then you'll be happy to know that Taquero Mucho is from the same owners! Each restaurant has its own spin on mouthwatering Mexican cuisine but there's no denying that Taquero Much has an aesthetic unlike anywhere else in Austin. Whether you're ordering a drink from their bar or a taco from their menu, chances are you'll get it served to you in pink. View this post on Instagram I had lunch at the prettiest and pinkest new restaurant downtown, @taqueromuchoaustin 💕🌸 Taquero Mucho is owned by @gabrielasdowntown, and while there’s some overlap (like the Choriqueso, which I love and wish every restaurant offered tbh), they’re definitely two distinct menus. Things to know before you go: •There’s a parking lot (hallelujah!). It’s pay to park, but @taqueromuchoaustin will validate so it ends up being free for their guests. •When we first got there at 11:30 it was pretty empty, but the lunch rush started at 12:00. •Our food came out SUPER fast. •Because of the overtly feminine decor, I thought I’d only see women in there, but there were several all-male parties.
