If you've ever been to Kerbey Lane Cafe then you know it's one of the most delicious places to eat in all of Austin. Unfortunately, this famous eatery has always been limited to the Austin area, and sometimes that drive can get to be too much! According to KXAN, we have the Texas State University Board of Regents to thank for adding in a brand new location. San Martians are saying goodbye to their beloved Saltgrass Steakhouse and hello to the even more beloved Kerbey Lane Cafe, which will be in it's place.\nThere are 24 hour cafes all over Austin, but Kerbey Lane Cafe has stood out from the beginning. With pancakes as big as your face and chips and queso to absolutely die for, it's no surprise it's built such a reputation. There are food options on their menu for any and every type of diet. And with the new location being right on Texas State University's campus, students from all over the world are undoutedly going to be the ones to pop in at this location the most. The more options on the menu, the better! And Kerbey Lane Cafe couldn't possibly disappoint.\nView this post on Instagram All you queso aficionados out there already know where this is from just by looking at it 🧀🥑. A meal @kerbeylanecafe just doesn't feel right without it. . . #atx #Austin #atxfoodies #austinfoodstagram #SXSW #atxeats #atxfood #foodporn #foodstagram #foodie #instafood A post shared by ATXFoodies (@atxfoodiesblog) on Mar 13, 2019 at 7:03am PDT\nFrom salads, to tex-mex, to breakfast tacos and giant pancakes, the variety on their menu is endless. Whether you're there for brunch or at 2 am after a night out, you can get exactly what you've been craving. Their menu is super affordable and that's exactly what a college student's bank account needs (or anyone's for that matter). These reasons and many more are why people are already so excited, even though the news broke not long ago!\nView this post on Instagram Oh @kerbeylanecafe you never disappoint. #queso A post shared by Katharine Cavanaugh (@kathie_cav) on Apr 22, 2019 at 6:20am PDT\nTwitter and Instagram have erupted in a roar of applause now that so many people's favorite restaurant is finally opening up a little ways away from Austin. Alumni and people all over Texas are part of that crowd as well, you really can't go wrong when it comes to Kerbey Lane Cafe. If you haven't been yet, make sure to stop in at one of their many Austin locations before the new one opens which is set for sometime in 2020. The sooner you understand the hype, the better.\nView this post on Instagram Oh, Austin!
