Your search for authentic dumplings in North Carolina can soon be over because a brand new Himalayan spot is opening soon.  The 7th Street Public Market is about to welcome an all-new Asian restaurant in Charlotte that is transforming from food truck to brick-and-mortar. The soft and chewy bite-sized treats will be at your fingertips as soon as mid-March.

Momo Station, a subsidiary of the popular Momo Truck, will be one of the newest tenants to grab the attention of foodies in one of Charlotte's trendiest spots.

They serve up savory, handmade dumplings using a family recipe from the Himalayas.

Fans will no longer have to chase down the truck because the brand will soon have a permanent spot at 7th Street Public Market.

Owner AJ Dhital told Narcity that details regarding property management are still in the works and that the menu is still being finalized. However, he claimed Momo Station should be up and running before the end of the month.

Visitors can expect to nosh on decadent steamed and fried dumplings filled with veggies, chicken, beef and more served with special, hand-crafted Momo sauce.

As you munch on these delicacies, you may feel like you're being transported to the Himalayan foothills of Bhutan, India and Nepal, where AJ's family made MoMo (aka dumplings).

You can expect your tastebuds to be whisked away with aromas and flavors true to the region like ginger, garlic and fresh spices.

Dumplings aren't the only things you'll find on the menu here. The truck currently serves Asian tacos, loaded rice bowls, lo mein and Katti rolls that will likely be available at the new location.

Narcity will stay in touch with AJ to provide updates about a grand opening date.
