Now that Texas restaurants are able to open at 25% capacity, many are doing just that. Others, however, are thinking of creative ways to deliver your food straight to your car, door, or person. A Dallas restaurant offering curbside pick-up invented a creatively new "Taco Robot" to have your food delivered to you while avoiding any physical contact between restaurant workers and customers looking to get their grub on. El Palote Panaderia, a beloved vegan taqueria in Dallas, has created the "Palote Bot" to provide contactless delivery for their customers, and workers. The robot delivers food to customers with the help of a small vehicle, a bucket, a t-shirt, and an iPad. With so few places in Texas to get vegan Mexican cuisine, it's a relief that this restaurant is still offering a way to get our hands on their food. Right now, the restaurant is open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. That gives folks plenty of time to stop by and see what this taco delivering robot is all about!
