The best kind of meal is the one involving tacos. And the best drink to accompany tacos is a nic, cold margarita. Now you can dine on multiple varieties of both tacos and margaritas at this fest in Dallas next month! The Taco and Margarita Crawl Dallas will be absolutely delicious. Unlike a normal bar crawl, this one involves eating tons of tacos. Who needs a normal bar crawl with just beer and cocktails when you can go to one with cheap tacos and margs? The big event will take place this upcoming month, on January 25th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Basically, you can check-in at 2 and have a nice taco and marg lunch, then hang out all day until dinner time when you can dine on even more tacos and margs! And don't forget about all the snacking in between meals! View this post on Instagram Cabeza (beef head), lengua (beef tongue), and suadero (brisket) tacos from Los Cocuyos in Mexico City. This place was in every YouTube video and food documentary about eating in Mexico City but it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s just an unassuming window that you walk up to, with a massive vat of all the available meats bubbling away confit-style, and a big chopping block where you can watch them chop up your piping hot taco meat. 🌮 . . . Lengua has always been my favorite taco filling even at home, but no way any SF lengua taco will ever compare to the one I had here. I watched them pull out the whole beef tongue from the meat vat, delicately remove the firmer outer tissue, and cut off a nice thick slice of the softest, most melt-in-my-mouth meat I’ve ever had. Still trying to cope with the fact that I’ll never find a better lengua taco anywhere else. What’s your favorite taco filling? 🌮 . . . Happy new year! I took an unintentional break from posting over the holidays as I was focused on enjoying my time in Mexico...I hope you guys liked following along in my stories! I’ll be adding a map of my Mexico City taco crawl to my Mexico City highlight, and you can view the Google Map I created at bit.ly/lbt-cdmx-tacos complete with my notes about what to get at each stop. Mexico City was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it for people who love street food. I’ll be sharing more posts about CDMX eats soon! 🇲🇽 . . . . . . . . #food #tacos #loscocuyos #latenightsnack #tacos🌮 #streettacos #cheatdayeats #streetfood #yougottaeatthis #tryitordiet #tacocrawl #mexicanfood #tacotuesday #cocinamexicana #foodphotography #gastromx #foodiemx #foodporn #foodstagram #foodtography #foodie #sffoodie #fooddiary #offal #feastonthese #cdmx #mytravelgram #taqueria #globetrotting A post shared by lily morello • flatlays & food (@lilybubbletea) on Jan 4, 2019 at 9:03am PST If you're really feeling saucy, you can snag a VIP ticket for $35 to get your hands on a limited edition T-Shirt, cups, koozies, drink specials plus more free giveaways! After a long night of eating tasty Mexican food and getting boozy off endless margaritas, you'll probably need a hearty treat the next morning to get you back on your feet. This is when you have to hit up the Mimosa crawl in Downtown Dallas, happening just the morning after. There will be endless flowing mimosas for all to enjoy. And then maybe you could take a break from the booze for a little while afterward.
