Dallas-Fort Worth Is Having A Giant FREE Wine Festival This Fall
McKinney is bringing the juice!
There are plenty of different types of wine. People have all types of opinions and preferences whether it is best distilled, not distilled, corked, screw capped, red, or white and how all of it makes a difference. Thankfully, Mckenny is having a Wine and Music festival on October 19th where we can try them all.
The festival will feature wines from both Texas and California. Over 20 wineries will be at the event, bringing a total of over 100 wines for you to try. Some of the vineyards include last year's winners Caudalie Crest Winery, Zin Zen Wine Bistro and Red Road Vineyard and Winery. There will even be a wine stomping contest where guests will get to stomp their own wine!
This year's musical guests have not been confirmed yet but last year's fest included performances by Australian singer-songwriter Aaron Hendra, The Redwine Band and The Maylee Thomas Band. The performers will play throughout the day so the fun won't ever stop.
You'll never get hungry at the festival as they will have a variety of different food trucks there to satisfy all your cravings including The Dock Food Truck, The Dapper Doughtnut and 7 Sisters Gourmet Food Truck. A day full of food, wine, and music definitely sounds good to us!
The festival is completely free to enter so you can enjoy all of the music, food trucks, and activities. If you want to try the 20 different wines and get your very own signature event wine glass and lanyard, you can purchase a $40 tasting ticket. On top of all this, the event will also have tons of vendors where you can purchase art, jewelry and more on the day of the fest.
The McKinney Wine and Music event will be held at Adriatica located on 6633 Virginia Parkway in McKinney, Texas. To purchase tickets and to keep updated with the event you can visit their Facebook event page here.
