Farmers Branch Has The Coolest Retro Diner That Will Take You Back To The 50s
The 50s meet today!
Time travel hasn't been invented yet (or at least that we know of) but there are few places in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that will make you feel like you're in a totally different era. The Diner of Dallas located in Farmers Branch is one of those places that is so retro and cool you'll feel like you're in the 50s - no doubt about it!
The decor is nothing short of Instagramable with tons on neon signs and old school decor. You will find a totally retro bar like the ones they have in the movies and yes, they have milkshakes. Visitors can enjoy a tasty milkshake with cutouts of famous 50s icons including Elvis Presly, Marylin Monroe, and Frank Sinatra. They also have others like Dolly Parton and Elvira. You are more than welcome to take pics with them but we suggest you head here to try their amazing food.
Some of the things on the menu include breakfast items like steak and eggs, breakfast pizza, and grits. They also carry burgers and sandwiches like their giant cheeseburger, an atomic chili burger, turkey club, and patty melt. All of their eats start at just $3 and work their way up. Guests can also join the Diner club for a free dessert on your birthday.
You can visit from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday through Saturday or from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. No matter when you go, you are sure to get a very retro, fun experience.
