You Can Eat Ice Cream Served In A Cloud Of Cotton Candy At Houston's New Dessert Joint
This place looks like it's been ripped out of a fairytale.
Ice cream is always a good idea, but isn't better with toppings? Sure you can go for the sprinkles or cereal flakes, but how does cotton candy sound? New to Houston, Nobibi is quickly getting a reputation for making a lot of Instagram dreams come true. With its beautiful take on soft-serve ice cream, the Chinese-based company is bringing a blend of mind-blowing garnishes to their menu.
Nobibi is showing off some colorful mixes to all of their products. First, the cotton candy adds a pastel element to their creation, and makes for awesome Insta pics. They also serve gold foil ice cream or color cones. If ice cream doesn't appeal to your sweet tooth, how about a boba tea, slushie, pink unicorn frappaccino, or caramel popcorn? There's so many yummy treats that you might just end up ordering two different things.
The ice cream chain is based out of Shanghai, and opened it's first U.S. location in California recently. It's kind of special that they chose Houston as their next stop to make their mark on the foodie scene.
Located at 1035 Blalock Road, right off of I-10, the trendy dessert shop is about a 20 minute drive from downtown. It may take some effort, but trip will be so worth the it. Nobibi is already popping up on the Instagram scene that they're ready to open up a second location in Sugarland in the near future.
There are tons of soft serve shops all around America, but Nobibi has turned itself into one, if not, the biggest and most creative standout. And if you're looking for more mouth-watering treats, check out this.
On a scale of deliciousness Nobibi wins the soft serve wars hands down. We're not saying there aren't other tasty treats around the city, but you just can't compete with an ice cream cone surrounded by cotton candy.
