This summer, Jacksonville is bringing back the perfect festival for foodies and animal lovers. The June Jax Veg Fest is a vegan festival featuring yoga, local vendors, music and the best vegan food from the city.\nThe vegan festival took place last winter and they have decided to make this event quarterly. The festival is dog-friendly, you will be able to see live art, craft vendors, and plant-based vendors. Jax tastiest vendors will unite to bring to the community a festival where you don't have to worry about the food and can enjoy all of the meatless options.\nLast season visitors go the chance to taste jackfruit nuggets on a bed of mac and cheese, vegan hot dogs, non dairy ice cream, and more.\nView this post on Instagram Jackfruit nuggets on a bed of mac & cheese 😭 Definitely my favorite things yesterday at Jacksonville VegFest! #VegFest #vegannuggets #jackfruit #jacjfruitnuggets #veganfoodshare #vegansofinstagram #vegansofig #whatdoveganseat A post shared by Papa J & his daughters. Expect to see lots of people and furry friends taking over the park on June 8th. The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm.\nThe festival will feature live music by local musicians such as Jesse Montoya and Jessica Leigh Walton. This environmental friendly event is free and open to the public. Jax Veg Fest want to encourage the community to eat a plant-based diet and promote ways to reuse, reduce and recycle materials. If you can't make it to this festival, you can also check the Vegandale Festival coming to South Florida on July 13th. It is the same concept but with more vendors and photo opportunities.\nThe Vegan Festival will be held in Riverside Park located at 753 Park Street, FL 32204.
