Whether it’s late and you just don’t feel like cooking, or you’ve got the midnight munchies hard, you’ll definitely want to pay a visit to a new weed-themed sub shop coming to Orlando: Chēba Hut. And we know what you’re thinking — no, there isn’t any weed in the actual food. It’s more so the place you hit up after your medical or recreational toking tendencies. But no judgment here, man. They’ve got munchies for one and all and are slated to open their new location this summer.

From stoner to hangover foods and everything in between, Chēba Hut has a vibe all its own. The Colorado-based company has been around since 1998, and so far only has one location in the Sunshine State in St. Augustine.

Though no concrete date has been set yet for Orlando, Chēba has a tentative July opening anticipated for their new spot on Colonial Dr., with plans for future locations popping up around UCF and downtown Orlando, too.

With a selection of wine and craft beer from local breweries, they stand out with nods to the lit life featuring menu items with names like Dank, Kush, Dirty Hippie, and Acapulco Gold.

The sandwiches are big, loaded with toppings like spicy chicken and roast beef, layered for ultimate sub goodness and of course, fresh-baked cookies to go along with your toasted sandwiches too.

You’ll also find a great selection of teas, kool-aid, and other soft drinks to quench that cottonmouth, as well as brownies, Rice Krispies, and their signature “goo balls,” which are made with Rice Krispies, honey, peanut butter, and cocoa all rolled into the perfect little treat.

Founder Scott Jennings prides his company on offering fresh, homegrown ingredients and the best bread around. They ride the counter-culture wave by not taking themselves too seriously while still providing great food.

You can even order in advance online or pick up your munchies later, in preparation for any extracurricular activities. Wink, wink.

Sounds like we'll be curing our munchies with some munchies this summer!
