Finally, one of our wishes has come true: pastries are growing on trees. At least, they are at one spot. You can get a beignets in Phoenix served on an actual tree and despite how wild it sounds, it's so cute and fluffy. 

Steak 44 is a high-end steakhouse in Phoenix known for its top-of-the-line filets and seafood. The elegant setting makes you feel oh so fancy. 

You even have to walk through their 3,000 bottle wine vault to access the main dining room. 

While the food is decadent, the desserts are what really take the cake (pun intended). Even if you aren't a dessert person, it's undeniable that these desserts are something special. 

A beignet is similar to a doughnut, but it's sweetened dough allowed to rise, then cut into squares, deep-fried, and liberally coated in powdered sugar. The result is a pillowy, soft, delicious pastry. 

The fried creations are served stuck on the branches of a metal tree, looking so pretty it's tough to fathom eating it (but not that tough... they still look pretty yummy). It's served with warm vanilla frosting and Nutella.

You can choose between a large ($18) or a small tree ($12) depending on your group size and sweet tooth. The large comes with 10 beignets and the small comes with five. 

Just look at that cinnamon sugar. Move aside, palm tree, we might have a new favorite type of plant. 

While they do offer some other amazing after-dinner sweets like cookies and cream popcorn sundaes, red velvet bread pudding, and a crispy banana split, the real show stopper is this dessert tree. 

There's no rule that says you only have to get one dessert, so feel free to "branch" out and try some of their other incredible options. 

I for one am really eyeing that cookies and cream popcorn sundae, it looks heavenly. 

We don't just want the beignet tree, we need it. Grab some friends for a dinner out or take that special someone out for a date night. Either way, this place won't disappoint.
