There’s something magical about that Old Florida charm, the nostalgic familiarity of an older image of the Florida you know and love. Old Naples Pub is one such place, where you’ll enter a lush jungle oasis and feel like you’ve stepped back into a version of The Sunshine State from a history long past. Unique, cozy, and certainly stunning once night falls, you’ll definitely want to add this Florida restaurant to your list. The Old Naples Pub can be found in the heart of historic Old Naples, just off Third Street near the historic pier and Naples Beach. Draped in flowering vines, it almost feels like stepping into a hidden fairytale kingdom or the pages of a romance novel. It’s not fae food you’ll find within, however, but fresh seafood, hearty sandwiches, filling salads, and large, refreshing selection of beers and wines to wash it all down. To say that you were a rude awakening to the whole world is an understatement. You have left me with one important lesson and sweet reminder, “Carpe Diem” ~Seize the day. Nothing lasts forever, love and life are fragile. We are all in the hands of God and his plan for each one of us. Every moment we have on this earth is a magical gift, and I am grateful for everything and everyone that touches my life for whatever reason or however long. For the past four years, I have fully enjoyed living in Naples, I find beauty in every corner of this great town. The beaches and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The streets are lined with gorgeous palm trees and perfectly manicured gardens. The state of the art fitness facilities abound. I am particularly passionate about the restaurants all over town, but especially those on @3rdstreetsouth and @5thavenuesouth. In the last two weeks I have been walking, running, and biking around the whole town. Taking in one neighborhood after another each day. From Pelican Bay in North Naples to Port Royal. My wish was always to photograph the beautiful restaurants I frequent from the outside, with no people around, but never had the opportunity. Tonight at sunset I finally fulfilled that desire. I have many fond memories of celebrations with friends and my children in all of these restaurants, so each one of them has a place in my heart. I can’t wait to go back to them, knowing that I will never take another perfect cocktail 🍸 or meal in good company for granted again! Promise to spare you the long winded caption! 😝 Hope you are all enjoying meals at home with your loved ones! ❤️ A post shared by Cecilia (@naples_foodie) on Mar 31, 2020 at 7:42pm PDT Where the walls, pillars, and stairs are blanketed in climbing vines, they are illuminated by hundreds of lights after the sun goes down, giving the pub an absolutely enchanting feeling.
