We're all guilty of letting fast-food seduce our palate from time to time; however, vegans have probably had to say pass more often than not since typical fast-food is usually prepared with or near products of animal origin. It's often believed when food is plant-based it can't look or taste as drool-worthy — but luckily for Floridians, a mouthwatering vegan restaurant is hosting a junk-food pop-up in Tampa this month that will make all bellies happy, vegan or not. The Plant-Based Junk Food event in Tampa will take place at Southern Brewing & Winemaking on March 17 with bites available for purchase from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There is no entry fee for this foodie pow-wow either, meaning you and your friends can expend every dime in your pocket on tasty treats to chow down. Vuture Food, a Los Angeles-based vegetarian and vegan restaurant based in our west coast cousin state, Cali, is responsible for this special one-time pop-up. There will be just one booth in attendance, serving all types of delicious vegan fast-food creations. The organizers said on their event page that the Vegan Crispy Chik’n Sandwiches may be "One of the best you'll ever have!" You might just want to put that to the test.
