People who really love food sometimes like to try dishes that are out of the ordinary. After all, it can be really fun to try something new. That's why so many people seek out unique food in North Carolina and this "bug burger" might be your next challenge. If you want to go for something totally out of the ordinary, you have to try the Tarantula Challenge at Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham, North Carolina. It's a part of the restaurant's Exotic Meat Month in April, and it's seriously out of this world. This one really isn't for the faint of heart. You have to go up to the manager and specifically request one of these burgers if you think you might want to try the challenge. The burger comes out with a whole baked and salted tarantula on top of the patty. You can then dress it up with whatever toppings you might be craving before you bite into it to see how it tastes. However, there are other fun foods you can try during Exotic Meat Month if you are feeling adventurous. You can get other types of bugs on your burger as well as crickets on your fried pickles.
