Lizzo attended the Laker's Game this Sunday night and let's just say things got a little crazy. The Laker Girls came out to dance and her face completely lit up when she realized they were grooving to her song, "Juice." But no one expected what happened next. If you haven't heard of the 'Lizzo outfit' controversy yet, you might want to take a seat.

Here's a little recap.

The self-love queen wore a long completely backless dress that showed off her backside and exposed her thong. Cameras panned to her dancing courtside and without hesitation, Lizzo turned around and twerked on the jumbotron.

While many of her fans praised her confidence, some Laker's attendees were pretty upset. Twitter is going off!

Lizzo's not one to care about the haters, but yesterday, she hopped on an Instagram live video to address it all. First, she teased that she wrote a new song, that will come out in 2020.

The singer went on to explain, "Who I am and the essence of me and the things I choose to do as a grown-ass woman can inspire you to do the same."

"I'm the happiest I've ever been I'm surrounded by love and I just want to spread that love – and also spread these cheeks. And you know what? If you really, really don't like my ass, you can kiss it. 'Cause kissing it makes it go away, I promise."

You can watch her saved Instagram live video here.

She went on to say, "But I don't want to censor myself because I'm suddenly famous, or I don't want to censor myself because everyone's looking at me now. I'm not going to quiet myself, I'm not going to shrink myself because somebody thinks that I'm not sexy to them."

While we love her confidence, Twitter isn't holding back. Many people said her outfit was inappropriate, as there were children at the basketball game.

Some of the comments addressed that the issue wasn't body positivity, claiming it was more about being "indecent."

Regardless of what the internet is saying, Lizzo is happy. And it doesn't look like anything is going to change that.
