Scooter Braun Got A Tattoo In LA This Week & It May Be About Taylor Swift (PHOTO)
Hint: It's his spirit animal.
It's clear that celebs love getting new ink. And fans seem to love it just as much when there's a story behind it. We can't help but notice Scooter Braun's new tattoo is definitely his spirit animal.
Perhaps you've heard of Alessandro Capozzi before. This famous Los Angeles and Rome-based tattoo artist is also the man behind the iconic design for Demi Lovato's insanely detailed new angel back ink.
Yesterday, Alessandro posted a black and white photo of Braun's new ink that he did on his Instagram page. The pic shows a fierce shark with a storm raging inside it and a near capsizing boat.
In the caption, he titled the ink "Life's Journey for visionary @scooterbraun."
The shark seems to be symbolic of Scooter's spirit animal. The most common shark symbolism is power — and if his beef with T Swift is to be believed, Braun's been acting pretty power-hungry these days.
As a spirit animal, the shark represents the need to fight for what you want and never back down. *Hmmm*
If you have been tracking their feud, Braun bought the rights to all of Taylor's old music and allegedly refused to let her perform any of the old songs that she wrote. *Gasp*
But that's another story for another time.
Alessandro's Instagram post went on to describe a famous poem titled "Ithaka" by C.P. Cavafy, which is said to be the meaning behind Braun's new ink.
The first line of the poem reads, "As you set out for Ithaka, hope your road is a long one, full of adventure, full of discovery. Laistrygonians, Cyclops, angry Poseidon — don’t be afraid of them..."
You can read the full poem here.
While Braun's decision to get new ink definitely isn't unusual, his tattoo seems to have a lot of symbolism. Braun hasn't posted about it yet, but we're curious if Taylor Swift will have anything to say.
