Miss Universe 2019 Will Be Hosted In Atlanta This Year & It's Total Girl Power Goals

Atlanta's astounding growth and increasing popularity has led to the city hosting major sports events, acting as a film hub for big hit features and now it's hosting one of the most renowned international events in the universe. The long-awaited Miss Universe 2019 pageant will be held in Atlanta at Tyler Perry's brand new massive studio this year.
The empowering annual Miss Universe pageant is a global, inclusive event that celebrates women of all backgrounds and cultures. They help women reach new heights by providing an experience that builds confidence and creates goal-centric opportunities for success.
The gorgeous and multi-talented women who compete every year are experts when it comes to putting on a captivating performance. This year, we will get to experience that in our own back yard. These fierce women will take the stage at Tyler Perry's brand new gigantic studio located on the former Fort McPherson Army base.
Last year's winner, Catriona Gray from the Philippines will crown the new Miss Universe after judges analyze several categories incuding personal statement, swimsuit, evening gown and interview.
Women from over 90 countries will be represented, boasting their inner and outer beauty. The USA this year is represented by the stunning Cheslie Kryst, a southern belle out of North Carolina. She is a licensed lawyer and a record-holding former Division I track star.
She currently serves as a correspondent for entertainment news outlet, ExtraTV and runs a fashion blog called White Collar Glam.
The pageant, which will air in 170 countries, will be hosted by Steve Harvey (whom we hope will read the card right this time) and will air on FOX on Dec. 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
