Texans are heading to the polls today, especially those in Houston, who seems to be taking all means of transportation to the ballot box.

Mayor of H-town, Sylvestor Turner, along with Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins was spotted riding to polls in classic Texas-style on horses and an old-timey carriage.

Turner submitted his endorsement for former Vice President Joe Biden earlier in election season after nominee Mike Bloomberg dropped out of the race.

Early votes cast in Texas according to the Texas Tribune

Harris County residents were quick to hit the polls on the morning of election day, with 21,000 people casting their ballot in just the first hour.

Texas is widely considered to be a swing state for this election, after being historically red for the last 10 presidential races.

With the state breaking its own 2016 record of votes cast, nobody knows for sure whether or not the lone star state will turn blue.

Today, November 3, is the last day to cast your vote in the 2020 election and the polls will remain open until 7 p.m.
