The company was found to be dumping this wastewater into the City of Eureka's sewer system in California and Humbolt Bay's Eureka Slough.

Some of the waste was from an indoor shrimp processing area that skipped using the company's pretreatment system, and more according to the news release.

The EPA warns that untreated waste can result in pollutants that can harm aquatic life and affect water quality.
