Tiny Burglars Broke Into A California Bank, Knocked Over A Computer, And Ate Some Cookies
No money was stolen by their tiny hands.
These tiny masked burglarsbroke into a bank but didn't seem to care much about the money inside of it — they simply wanted almond cookies.
Two raccoons managed to break into a closed Chase Bank in Redwood City this week and get into some mischief while inside.
Before being caught by authorities (the local humane society), the raccoons reportedly knocked over a computer screen after falling through some ceiling tiles.
To our knowledge they didn’t abscond with any money.”

The bandits also dumped a bunch of papers on the floor.
Apparently, these little thieves didn't want to leave, either — it took a full 10 minutes for rescue staff from the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA couldn't get them out of the bank.
The raccoons were not injured during their break-in.
Here's to hoping they will reform and stop breaking into banks — not to be an accomplice, but a grocery store might be a better bet.
