Texas' Marshalls & HomeGoods Are Now Reopening & They Have Major Markdowns
Discounts are coming your way!
Stores and malls all across Texas have already begun to open with new safety procedures and rules. Some larger department stores, however, have been cautious in reopening in the state, prepping their locations and employees to be as safe as possible. There's one particular department store company that is slowly reopening, and locals are excited to get back to their deals. HomeGoods, Marshalls, and T.J. Maxx will be fully reopened across Texas by the end of June.
TJX Companies is the parent organization that owns all three beloved department store chains. They recently announced that they will be slowly reopening to make sure they meet their ideal safety standards.
The giant stores are famous for selling a variety of retail goods at prices much lower than some of their competitors. As of 2020, there are more than 3,200 stores across the United States.
This makes TJX a major stop forlooking for affordable clothes, home goods, and more.
In a statement from this May, the CEO and President of The TJX Companies, Ernie Herrman, stated that "health and safety will remain a very important consideration" as they reopen their stores.
The chain stores will be implementing "newly established health protocols, including required use of face masks while working and implementing social distancing work practices."
They will also be installing protective shields at the cash registers to protect employees, along with adding "social distancing markers" in their check-out lines.
Returns and exchanges will be handled in a new way and there will be new cleaning procedures to keep everyone as safe as TJX thinks is necessary.
They also encourage all their customers to wear a protective face covering when shopping in their stores.
If you have been excited to get back to your favorite local discount retailer, from TJX to Marshalls to HomeGoods, you can look forward to reentering the stores sometime very soon.
In fact, locations across Texas have already begun to open, with many others following soon.
Be aware that tensions might be high, as seen at the reopening of athis past week.
