The City of Miami is taking its home county to court to expand voting access to Hispanic areas of the city.

In a legal brief filed by the city, Miami is suing both Miami-Dade County and the county election board for their refusal so far to add more early voting sites in Hispanic-majority neighborhoods.

The city has repeatedly asked the County to open the Hispanic Branch...The County has refused.
