It seems that COVID-19 is staying out of Orlando's theme parks.
Florida Department of Health officials said that they have not been able to find an outbreak of the novel coronavirus within Central Florida's theme park resorts.
There are people in our community that want to have an outbreak in the parks, and we are looking for an outbreak in the parks, and we have not seen it.
Dr. Raul Pino, FL Health
During a COVID-19 press conference in Orlando, Dr. Pino also said that while there have been some cases mentioning the parks, the health department hasn't been able to link the transmission to the parks.
"I don't have cases there yet," Dr. Pino further explained.
All of Orlando's major theme parks are back up and running, albeit with reduced capacity.
