Orlando Is Getting The First Ever Dog Park Coffee Shop
Cups & Pups will be opening in Orlando soon.
Coffee shops are awesome to relax and meet up with friends. But how about your furry friends? A new Orlando coffee shop and dog park - Cups & Pups, will be opening in Orlando soon.
This new concept brings together humans and pets, and it will be Central Florida's first off-leash dog park with a coffee bar. The owners, Matt and April Guldi, started their mobile coffee cart a year ago and are planning to expand their business in 2019. Currently, they are renovating an airstream that will serve as a walk-up coffee window. Cups & Pups is expected to feature 8,000 sq. ft off-leash dog park, patio space for lounging and outdoor games, and an additional smaller park for dogs under 30 lbs.
Coffee enthusiasts and dog lovers will soon have the opportunity to share the same space together. Currently, the mobile coffee cart operates from Monday through Friday located off of Hwy 441 in Lockhart (just North of College Park).
The coffee bar offers cappuccinos, lattes, hot chocolate, doppio, organic tea, and specialty coffee such as butter coffee, iced butter coffee, lavender cold brew, chai latte and their seasonal coffees like the Irish cream latte.
Matt and April's mission is to bring together the local community in a pet-friendly atmosphere where coffee is also the center stage. "The person who is really into coffee will enjoy our craft offerings, but a casual coffee drinker who loves dogs will feel welcome in our space." Matt explains.
Cups and Pups Coffee plans to begin expansion this summer with funding from Indiegogo campaign. If you want to support and fund this project check here for more information.
You can rent their coffee cart for weddings, office parties, baby showers, birthday, or any other special event. The average cost for a full-service event lasting 2 hours, serving 50 people, within central Florida is $450.
There's nothing better than sipping coffee while petting your dog.
