Star Wars' New Massive Themed Resort Is Opening In Florida This Fall 2019
Galaxy's Edge is coming to Walt Disney World this fall.
Go on an adventure in a galaxy far, far away. This new attraction in Disney World could make you believe you're not in Florida. It's official, a Star Wars themed hotel is coming to the grounds of Walt Disney World in fall 2019 according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The experience will begin once you land in Planet Batuu with a world full of strange creatures and droids. If you're a fan of Star Wars this could be your best vacation ever. The resort will allow guests to experience a two-day narrative event and an interactive Star Wars story experience.
You can also join the different attractions of the park such as Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge with your complete intergalactic costume.
The hotel will be located on the south side of Disney's Hollywood Studios and it will immerse each guest on a full Star Wars experience. Yes, you will become citizens of the galaxy and wear the attire you've always dreamed of.
Each room will look like a starship cabin with views of the galaxy. It will feature bunk beds, digital displays, space travel bedding. It's rumored that guests will have lightsabers, learn how to pilot a spacecraft, and undertake secret missions. Vacation and role-playing? Sounds like an interstellar getaway.
Guests will also see their favorite characters from Star Wars and interact with them. It's estimated that the rooms will cost $900 to $1000 with meals and park admission included in the price. It seems like going to space comes with a price.
Your entire family will be able to take Jedi training and learn how to properly fight. Hotel guests will also enjoy other attraction such as 'Rise of the Resistance' and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride.
It's expected to be the largest single themed land in Orlando. Maybe we should call it Star Wars Land instead of Disney World.
