If it's free it's for me, that's how the saying goes right? With 10 years of adventure now under their belt, Wild Florida Airboats & Gator Park is celebrating by offering free admission to their gator park all October long. There's only one small catch — you have to donate a canned food item.

With tin and aluminum traditionally being associated with a 10 year anniversary, Wild Florida is using this symbolism as the perfect excuse to give back to their communities.

Visitors will receive free admission on weekdays throughout the month of October when they bring a canned food item with them to donate. All of these collections will be distributed to local charities and food banks to help families in need.

“Hard to believe 10 years have gone by,” says Wild Florida's co-owner and founder, Sam Haught.

“We had a vision of bigger things to come, but none of us thought Wild Florida would be a 285-acre adventure park...we’re thankful to everyone that has helped us make it happen."

Wild Florida Airboats, Gator Park & Drive-thru Safari opened their doors back in 2010, situated in Kenansville's Lake Cypress. They started off as a 14-acre Gator Park offering airboat tours, all with a mission to educate people about Central Florida's natural resources.

Now, it's a 285-acre land of adventure, offering everything from up-close encounters with gators, an 85-acre drive-thru safari with over 100 native and exotic animals roaming freely in large fenced areas, airboat rides, and more — with a zipline over the animal park currently anticipated for a Fall 2020 opening.
