The weather has yet to fully cool down in Arizona, but we've got a solution to beat the heat. Arizona's new indoor water park can be found at a resort in Scottsdale. The Great Wolf Lodge officially opened its doors on September 27 and we couldn't be more excited.

The Great Wolf Lodge announced back in January of 2018 that it would be opening a location in the Grand Canyon State. It features an indoor water park that we Arizonians have been dying to get.

The water park is 85,000 square feet large and will include a water treehouse, waterslides, a lazy river, and more. The best part is that you can enjoy this water park at any time of the year. You'll probably catch us floating down the lazy river when temps rise over 100 degrees Farenheight.

Inside the indoor park, you'll find the Northwood Springs. The water is temperature-controlled to 84-degrees Farenheight. It's the best place to relax. We think of it as an indoor man-made hot spring.

The water park is only available to you if you book a room with the lodge. It's a great place to relax and escape the city.

If you're more of a water person who enjoys being in the sun, you can opt for the outdoor pool. There's even an adult-only section complete with a hot tub and pool chairs. You might find us here too.

The price of a room starts at $249 and go up from there. If you're wanting a true lodge experience, there are themed rooms for you to choose from. Some of the themed rooms include the Wolf Den Suite or the Grizzly Bear Suite.

Whether you're looking to beat the heat or relax in the lazy river, this lodge has a bit of everything for everyone. Nearby the lodge you'll find Saguaro Lake where you can go on cruises. On Wednesdays, you and your friends can go on an affordable wine cruise. It's possible to spot some wild horses too.
