A Virtual Pop-Up For Breaking Bad's Los Pollos Hermanos Is Coming To San Diego Soon
Our mouths are watering.
We’ve got fantastic news. Uber Eats is bringing Breaking Bad’s crispy Los Pollos Hermano chicken to San Diego soon. If you’re not familiar with Breaking Bad, it's an iconic American crime drama with a huge fan base and dark humor. The restaurant is famous for being the place where the show's main characters Walter White and Jesse Pinkman hang out.
The tasty deliciousness is coming right to the front door of SoCal residents, starting with LA today. San Diego’s delivery will follow soon. Narcity has reached out to Uber Eats for more information on their San Diego delivery dates and specific locations. We will update the article soon with more information.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that this Uber Eats delivery service will come to other California cities, including San Francisco and Oakland, as well as Las Vegas and Chicago within the next few months.
Los Pollos Hermanos will be available as a delivery-only service. For the first six months after launching, Uber Eats will offer free delivery on orders for the virtual pop-up.
Mouth-watering menu items include crispy Pollo Tenders, curly, seasoned Fring Fries, and an ABQ hot chicken sandwich. This sandwich features buttermilk chicken breast dished up with dill pickles, mustard, and Slaw Goodman on a buttered bun.
Prices for combo meals start at $16, main meals start at $12 and the Fring Fries cost $3.50.
There’s also plenty of sides and sweet treats to choose from, including combos, soft drinks, and desserts like Peruvian chocolate brownies and mint chocolate chip ice cream. The creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan, even taste-tested the food himself.
This isn’t the first time Los Pollos Hermanos came to life off of the big screen. It’s already been to New York City and Sydney. It’s not to be confused with the brick-and-mortar pop-up locations you may have seen across the country. Los Pollos Hermanos via Uber Eats is a new service.
Time Out reports that this Los Pollos Hermanos partnership comes from Sony and Family Style, Inc. who owns a collection of over 20 family-style delivery-only kitchens.
After the first six months, Los Pollos Hermanos’ virtual pop-up will expand to other delivery apps.
