Travelers Can Now Play Nintendo Switch Games At This Fun Seattle Airport Popup
The lounge is open now through March. 🎮
Have you ever been early for your flight or had to wait because it was delayed? We've all been there. But if you're now embarking on your journey from the Seattle airport, there's a fun way to spend your time. There's going to be a pop-up Nintendo Switch lounge with popular video games to keep you entertained!
The Nintendo Switch On The Go pop-up airport lounge starts up today at Seattle Tacoma International Airport and will be on until March 29. You'll be able to spot it in Concourse C, next to Gate C10 once you've cleared security.
Travelers will not only be able to get their hands on the gaming devices but will also be able to play popular games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, and Tetris 99, among others.
The lounges will have plush seats, charging ports, and gaming demos where you can pick from either handheld or TV modes.
If you fall in love with a particular game, device or merchandise, you can order it at the lounge too. It'll be shipped within two days — probably even before you get back from your travels.
According to the press note released by Nintendo, you'll even get a free carrying case with your order.
But there are perks for just stopping by too.
You can get a free branded luggage handle wrap (we're really hoping it's something to do with Mario!) and a $10 coupon that you can use to buy any of the company's merchandise at Target if you rack up a bill of over $75.
If you're not traveling to Emerald City soon, no worries.
These pop-ups are also coming to three other U.S. airports including the Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C., O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, and Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas. You can play even if you're arriving at any of these stations too.
You might be wondering "why airports?" According to SeattlePI, Nintendo said it's to help highlight the Switch's portability.
Either way, this is going to bring fun and games to your travel time. Just remember to keep an eye on the clock though so you don't miss your flight!
