The total number of Floridians infected with COVID-10 has now risen to 169,106, according to the state's COVID dashboard

Over the last seven days, the Sunshine State has recorded 55,088 cases, which has led to health experts worrying that Florida has become a "hotspot" for the virus.

Many cities and counties across the state have implemented mandatory face mask and social distancing ordinance to stop the spread of the virus.
