When we think about Florida, we certainly don't imagine snow — they don't call us the Sunshine State for nothin' — but now, we Floridians will finally get a little taste of the north when Florida's first outdoor snowpark opens in 2020.\nAbout three months ago, we learned that Dade City approved for the outdoor snowpark to be constructed, and we could not contain our excitement. Now, we're about to get even more excited.\nAt the time, no details had been released other than where it'd be placed; which was nestled comfortably near Treehoppers Treetop Obstacle Course, which offers awesome adventures both by day and by illuminated night courses with music.\nNow, those with a spirit of adventure will have a chance to play in the state's first outdoor snow park, and yes, it's going to be real snow.\nReal snow, in Florida? What once seemed like fantasy will soon become a reality. The snowpark is expected to run a maximum of 120 days a year, as long as the temperature stays below 80 degrees.\nWe'll be keeping an eye out for more details as they become available.
