The new Pinellas CARES programs will immediately broaden eligibility for individuals and families who need help with overdue rent, mortgage or utility bills.

To qualify, applicants now only need to sign a form stating that their loss of income was caused by COVID-19 directly, as well as provide documents that prove their residency in both the county and the United States.
If you previously applied and were denied assistance or have already received help but still need more, you're eligible to reapply. Applicants can submit applications by texting COVIDCARES to 898211.
$170 million in funding provided to the county by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act will go toward giving additional resources to those in need andfighting the virus, including more supplies, equipment, and support for testing in the community.
