It may not be Halloween yet, but we horror fanatics are counting down the days. Just like the Christmas Spirit, we get the jollies for the spooky season and we just found another reason to count down the days to Halloween: a massive horror convention is coming to Tampa this fall.\nThe Spooky Empire Premier Horror convention will be making a new home for their biggest event yet. Following their spring iteration of their Horror Convention, Spooky Empire announced in an Instagram post that they will be moving from their usual hot spot, Orlando, to Tampa for their all-out October Mega-Horror Con this year.\nA portion of the post reads: "Due to an increase in size and scope of logistics, the Spooky Empire team was unable to locate spaces in Orlando large enough, that also had available dates this year, to host the growing 'dark side of comic con". The Spooky Empire has been running its Bi-Annual spooktacular conventions in Florida since 2003 for a total of 16 years.\nThe Dark Side of Comic Con only continues to grow with more fans of everything freaky attending each year. They offer the most monstrous shows and have over 200 vendors and artists to purchase any horror collectible you could possibly imagine. You can see new up and coming horror flicks (or your favorite cult classics of course), get tattooed by some of the best artists from around the world at their pop-up tattoo parlor, or take part in one of the largest zombie walks to ever exist. Don't forget to dress up and try to take home the gold for best costume at the costume contest!\nYou can see some spine-chilling photos from previous Spooky Empire horror conventions below:\nView this post on Instagram @spookyempire #ZombieWalk was a success. #SpookyEmpire2016 #SpookyEmpire #SpookyEmpireZombieWalk #HauntLife #DevilsRejects A post shared by @ hauntlifellc on Apr 6, 2016 at 9:53am PDT\nYou can even meet and mingle with your favorite horror movie and TV stars. At their spring iteration in March, ’90s teen dream Christina Ricci who played Wednesday Addams and Hollywood legend Christopher Lloyd from 1991's The Addams Family were at the event for a meet and greet. Fairuza Balk from The Craft and The Waterboy was also on the star-studded event roster. The stars for this year's con have not yet been announced.\nYou can relive the nostalgia with one of Christina Ricci's most iconic scenes in the classic '90s film below:\nView this post on Instagram Tag yourself or a friend and comment below if you like this 🖤 Follow 👉@oldcarrotclub A post shared by Oldcarrotclub (@oldcarrotclub) on Apr 17, 2019 at 6:37am PDT\nThe cost to attend this massive horror party ranges in price from $20-100, depending on which day you go or if you want to go more than one day with a 3- or 4-day pass.
