Thanks to the hype surrounding Netflix docu-series Tiger King, we might actually find out what happened to Carole's Baskin's husband, Jack "Don" Lewis. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister has piggybacked on the growing popularity of the show to ask for any tips on the disappearance of Baskin's husband. Lewis has been missing since the '90s.
Chronister cited that his office has been receiving about six tips a day since the release of the show. He went on to post a call to action on his personal Twitter for any details on Lewis' whereabouts.
"Since @netflix and #Covid19 #Quarantine has made #TigerKing all the rage, I figured it was a good time to ask for new leads," he wrote.
The case went cold in 1997 when investigators had no leads as to what happened to Lewis. Baskin declared him legally dead in 2002, five years after his disappearance, according to the docu-series.
Since the release of the series,on what happened to Don led viewers to suspect Baskin’s role in her husband’s disappearance.
Even the current owner of Joe's zoo, Jeff Lowe, is convinced that Baskin was involved. He.
Robert Moor, writer and podcast host of Joe Exotic: Tiger King, went into a deep dive on Twitter. He answered people's questions about the show and provided more insight on Baskin's possible role in the disappearance.
Others aimed to piece together details listed in the docuseries as a possible motive for Baskin's involvement.
Baskin has denied any claims of her involvement in his disappearance.
