This mother got a surprising call from Utah Highway Patrol on Monday. A boy, reported to be five years old, was pulled over on the freeway after taking his parents' car. He told authorities he was headed to buy himself a Lamborghini after his mom told him she wouldn't.

Utah Highway Patrol wrote on their Twitter page, "One of our Troopers in Weber Co. initiated a traffic stop on what he thought was an impaired driver. Turns out it was this young man, age 5."

On Monday, May 4, during a traffic stop for impaired driving, a highway patrol trooper made a shocking discovery.

A five-year-old boy was behind the wheel of his parents' car after displaying questionable driving. The young boy made it onto the freeway before being pulled over.

Troopers shared the information around 1 p.m., according to KUTV 2, who went on to say that the young man told police he had an argument with his mom.

It turns out that the argument was about his mother not agreeing to buy him a Lamborghini, so he took his parents' car with the plan to get one for himself in California.

The Twitter post also mentioned that the boy "might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 in his wallet."

Lambos can cost anywhere from $200,000 to over $450,000, making the highway patrol correct in their assumption that the $3 might have fallen a bit short.

It was included in the post that the child was able to go from 17th and Lincoln in Ogden over to the 25th St off-ramp SB I-15.

Going by what Google Maps says, Narcity found that the boy drove for about 2.2 miles before being stopped.

KUTV reported that the case is still under investigation, and there is no news whether or not the boy and his parents will be charged.
