Everyone knows that Disney is dubbed The Happiest Place On Earth. But did you know it's also one of the strangest places in California too? Thanks to some guests, there are some pretty wild tales out on the internet about vacations gone wrong, the Matterhorn falling apart during a ride, epic fights that broke out in Disneyland - and even cannibalism. Yes, you read that right. These are the weirdest things to happen at Disneyland California. A Man Escaped From A Moving Space Mountain Ride On February 1, 2019, one man decided it would be a good idea to pull off the ultimate Space Mountain escape while the ride was moving. During a slower part of the coaster, he climbed out of the car and attempted to hide, but was caught by Disneyland security. According to The Orange County Register, Disneyland officials reported that the ride's lap bar restraint was unmoved and the man "used force to maneuver his way out of the vehicle." Thankfully, no one was hurt in the process, but Space Mountain was shut down for days after the incident. View this post on Instagram The first ride I ever rode in Disneyland was Space Mountain. My tradition is to always try and ride this ride first. Whether it’s Space Mountain or Hyperspace Mountain this ride brings back a ton of memories. . . Think about all the park views you can see from the top! Well, one girl saw something she probably wishes she could unsee. While riding the famous wheel, she witnessed a duck eating another dead duck, citing "Cannibalism at the 'Happiest Place on Earth.'" *Shudders in horror* View this post on Instagram . ポーズ悩んで悩んで悩んで〜… 悩んだ末にこれ(爆笑) . 本年も皆さまどうぞよろしくお願いいたします🎍 . #tokyodisneyland#tokyodisneyresort#東京ディズニーリゾート#東京ディズニーランド#ディズニー写真部#写真好きな人と繋がりたい#disney#ディズニー#dヲタさんと繋がりたい#ディズニー好きな人と繋がりたい#disneyカメラ隊#disney写真部#ディズニーカメラ隊#donaldduck#donald#ドナルド#エントランス#グリーティング#キャラクターグリーティング A post shared by シサ (@shia_917d) on Jan 1, 2020 at 3:33am PST Source 200 + Feral Cats Roam the Park Every Day If you've ever seen stray cats wandering around Disneyland, you're not the only one who's been concerned. Apparently, there's a reason for the park's massive homeless cat population. Since Disneyland has problems with rodents, they keep hundreds of (spayed and neutered) cats on the premises to *ahem* control the situation. They're feral though, so don't try to pet them. We can't believe someone actually went there. Earlier this year, a man was kicked out of the park for unveiling a giant Trump 2020 banner across the Mark Twain riverboat. Smh.
