Even if you don't keep up with the NBA, you've at least heard of basketball legend Dwayne Wade. The talented Miami Heat superstar retired this year, but he didn't stay under the radar for long. Dwayne Wade's NBA-TNT deal will land him in Atlanta as a basketball commentator and more. That's right. Dwayne Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union (#relationshipgoals) are coming to Atlanta as Dwayne takes the next step in his career. He just signed a multi-million dollar deal with TNT to take on a multi-faceted deal as a TV personality and producer. Wade will join TNT’s Inside the NBA crew on big events like the All-Star Game. He will also join TNT’s Tuesday evening studio coverage with Shaquille O’Neal (who's heart is as big as his body) and former WNBA legend, Candace Parker. I think we're all in for some true entertainment with this iconic trio. Wade will also make appearances on Atlanta's Turner and CBS Sports’ coverage on the NCAA Final Four. The 13-time all-star who also played for The Cavaliers and The Bulls, led the U.S. basketball team in the 2018 Summer Olympics, landing them a gold medal. The MVP clearly knows what he's doing, which is why his appearances and commentary is highly anticipated, as shown on Twitter. That’s unreal! My favorite player @DwyaneWade joining my favorite show @NBAonTNT 😱😭🤯 #Congratulations #DWade #InsideTheNBA— Slum (@slumBEAR) October 22, 2019 We can expect Dwayne and family to live in or near Midtown because the programs are filmed at Turner Studios in the area. Keep your eyes peeled because celebrities are seriously flooding the city lately! People are already getting hyped at the thought of running into him. DWade joined the @NBAonTNT team which means he’ll be spending part of the year in ATL… @DwyaneWade let’s be best friends, I’ve already paved the way for Miami transplants in this wonderful city— Faruq (@quraf_) October 22, 2019 He is definitely getting an overwhelming amount of support and fans seriously cannot wait. Oh my god if I start seeing @DwyaneWade around in Atlanta I would shed tears if I met this man— David🇨🇴 (@flashxo) October 23, 2019 Dwayne's new role as a basketball commentator and analyst has him reaching new heights. His skills and knowledge of the sport paired with his contagious personality will likely be a big hit for Turner Sports. He already made his debut on Tuesday (Oct. 22) so make sure to tune in! With @DwyaneWade officially joining the @NBAonTNT family, we decided to take a trip down memory lane on #Shaqtin...😅 pic.twitter.com/3621q58RWU— Shaqtin' a Fool (@shaqtin) October 23, 2019 Speaking of tuning in, there are major film productions underway in Georgia, like Ghost Draft with Chris Pratt filming at these exact locations and Stranger Things allegedly setting up shop already for season 4.
