Michael Vick Admits He Was Super Close To T.I. During His Time In Atlanta
The King of the South and Vick used to be boys
Michael Vick was never able to reach the coveted Super Bowl with Atlanta, however, he was one of the most (if not the most) talented quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen. Vick completely changed the game and was the "it guy" in football while he was playing. Even if there was one or two awkward moments along the way, Vick became the face of the Atlanta franchise and even Nike Football. Such notoriety got him in some pretty exclusive circles around the city. Vick recently revealed that him and Atlanta rapper T.I were pretty close back in the day.
Vick recently spoke to Bleacher Report web series 'Untold Stories' and gave some behind the scenes insight on pivotal moments of his NFL career.
'Untold Stories' host @MasterTes shared on twitter:
Can you guys imagine? Mike Vick and T.I back in the mid-2000's together?! T.I had just released anthems the likes of "Rubberband Man." Around that same time, Michal Vick was raising plenty of eyebrows around the league with his talents as well.
The two Atlanta celebrities had a very similar rise to fame. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that the two would spend time with each other and party around town together.
Plenty of fans may have even forgotten about Michael Vick's cameos in the "Rubberband Man" video. Some took to twitter after the Bleacher Report segment was posted.
What a time that must have been...
