If you don't know, now you know.
With the debut of the new City Edition of the Miami Heat’s ViceWave Jersey, the hype has been tangible in the air. Demand by the public for the jersey was high, and when the jersey went on sale last week, orders were flooding in.
The team has been particularly captivated by their new look, with vibrant videos and flashy photos dominating their social media stream. From shoes to graffiti, to even an entire plane, the new ViceWave colors are taking over.
The retro '80s pattern is inspired by the colors of Miami’s more local side, the pink of a sunny South Beach, the blue of rolling waves. We got to see the new jerseys in action on November 29 when the Heat faced off against the Golden State Warriors, and they totally lived up to the hype.
The players were spotted wearing some style-complimentary sneakers on the court.
With of course, high pink and blue socks to complete the bright new look.
Chris Bosh revealed a brand new basketball court sponsored by Nike and Miami Heat at a public park in Hialeah, Florida, repainted in the bright ViceWave colors for the youth team.
And DJ Khaled has been all over the new look, sporting his own jersey and posing in front of a plane painted entirely blue with the ViceWave logo across it.
Just last week, American Airlines partnered with Miami Heat to surprise an entire flight of passengers flying from Miami to Madrid with their very own jerseys, draped across the backs of their seats inside the plane.
