You Can Get Lost In This Corn Maze While Drinking Wine Next Month In Arizona
Will you find your way out?
We love everything involving wine from wine tasting, wine, and fine-dining - we might be obsessed! One pairing we don't hear of quite often is wine tasting and corn maze. You'll be able to drink wine in Arizona's largest corn maze next month.
On Friday, Sept. 20 and Sat. Sept. 21, Apple Annie's Orchard is hosting their wine in the maze event. From 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. you and your friends can search through the maze for 5 wine tasting stations hidden throughout. The $30 ticket will get you into the corn maze, a souvenir wine glass, and 5 wine tasting tickets.
If you're not much of a wine drinker you can opt for the cheaper $15 ticket, which will only get you into the corn maze. Narcity has reached out to Apple Annie's Orchard and confirmed that if you purchase the wine tasting ticket you must also have someone in your group who purchases the $15 designated driver ticket.
The cheaper ticket will require you to wear a wristband showing that you're not participating in the wine tasting. Tickets are also available at the event but they will be more expensive, so plan ahead.
You can purchase your tickets here.
You should also bring a flashlight or two because the maze can get dark and you don't want to get lost. When you've made your way out of the maze there will also be a food truck, Phil the Grill, serving BBQ and grilled items.
If you like the wine at one station you can use all of your tickets there, or use one at each station. You won't be able to buy more tickets and you must show ID, so make sure you figure out whether you're a white or red wine drinker.
If you decide to go early you can also pick your own fruit, veggies, and pumpkins. Some fruits and vegetables include apples, bell peppers, watermelon and lots more.
Parking is free and abundant in their dirt lot. You should also leave your furry friends at home because they are not allowed in unless they are a service animal.
This orchard along with the corn maze is only open from July - October. They also have a country store where you can buy homemade apple pie, apple bread, fudge, and much more. It's open year-round.
