Okay, I get it. We probably all need friends but life can seem so blah at times when our rollies just aren’t available. One day they are blowing our phones up, planning trips and hanging out with no issues. Then all of a sudden, our phone is dry with zero replies. What kind of life is that?

But I’ll tell you one thing; what we’re not going to do is sit in the house and scroll through the gram all day. No, there’s a life that needs to be lived and you my friend will live it! There’s places to see, food to eat and, of course, new friends to meet! Because clearly, the current ones are busy. However, that’s okay. Alone time is some of the best time. Plus, let's not forget how dope Atlanta is with all the amazing things it has to offer.

The next time you find yourself bored, check out this list so you can get your life!

Café Lucia

Where: 1260 W Spring St

@janiebug26embedded via

Cafés are some of the most comforting places. They give off great vibes and energy. Especially at Café Lucia, where the staff makes you feel so welcoming! It's a place where creative souls intertwine. Not to mention, they offer an enormous range of great snacks, meals, and even some alcoholic drinks!

Typically, cafés only offer tea and coffee with maybe a side of croissants. But Café Lucia is much further along than that. So if you like live music, you can catch local musicians showing off their skills a couple times a week. So go and pull up a chair at this bomb café and enjoy your me time.

Rent A Bird

Where: Anywhere

@christineswangembedded via

I know what you’re thinking, how in the world can you rent a bird! Let me just say, I’m not talking about real birds here people.

If you’ve been in the city lately, then it's no shocker that there are black and white scooters literally, everywhere! That, my friend, is the Bird! Bird is nothing more than the brand of the scooter and was introduced to the city this summer. It’s a better, faster alternative solution to getting around the city. For just 15 cents/minute you can relive your childhood. Just download the app and Bird will show you a map of the closest Bird scooter near you.

But don’t get too excited if you find one because the battery might be low. No worries though, just find another one! Enjoy some good Atlanta weather as you scoot around by yourself!

Scroll Through Buckhead

@buckheadatlembedded via

No, not Bankhead, Buckhead — because there’s a huge difference between the two!

If you’re bored and really want something to do, take a stroll through Buckhead. It's one of the nicest areas in Atlanta. It’s often known as a place where people dream big. You’ll witness luxury cars passing by and shiny storefronts where most people only window shop at. If you turn down Northside Drive, you can gaze at the long strip of mini-mansions as you rethink your money goals. You can even stop in one of their open houses. Throw on your sneakers, grab a chai tea, and enjoy the scenery of Buckhead.

KSU Library

Where: 385 Cobb Avenue NW

@wifeyinatlantaembedded via

Our mind is a powerful tool and it’s important that you constantly feed it. But there’s just something to be said about why most libraries close around 5 p.m.! If you ever had a dream of reading in a library at night, then head to the KSU Library, at their main campus location. You won’t believe that it closes at midnight during the week! If you’re a bookworm then you know how important this information is. Although it’s a college campus, their library is opened to the public. So go on and scroll past the students and make your way to the second floor for some late night reading.
