You Can Drink Boozy Holiday Cocktails At This Magical Neon Atlanta Ice Rink Next Month
There's also half-priced sushi.
Although it's not uncommon for October to feel just as hot as July, we can (luckily) say that the weather in Georgia is starting to cool down. We are totally getting entangled in the fall vibes which means it's time to start scouring for cold weather events happening around the city. Next month, this indoor ice skating rink in Atlanta will give you all the holiday feels.
Park Tavern, located in Piedmont Park, has tons of fun and boozy events year round that overlook the gorgeous Atlanta skylines. One of its most notorious set-ups is the 85-foot long and 40-foot wide Fire & Ice Rink embellished with neon lights, holiday decor and tons of booze for all the warm and fuzzy holiday vibes.
The rink, which comfortably fits 200 skaters, will open Nov. 29 with its captivating Neo-Victorian design elements. It's the perfect spot for a date night with bae or just a fun night out with your squad as you overlook the unobstructed views of the dazzling skyline.
At this more-than-average ice rink, you'll be saying "bottom's up" with all wine, housemade brews and seasonal holiday cocktails that will keep you company on your figure skating endeavors.
But the fact that it's at a bar offering plenty of booze is just scratching the surface.
The set-up also includes a large heated garden tent with a state-of-the-art sound system (because loud music just makes everything better). There are plenty of flat screen TVs too if you want to catch the game. The tent is a nice escape from the cold, along with plenty of stone fire pits and fireplaces where you can roast s'mores, which will truly get you in the Christmas spirit.
If you are searching for an intimate night with your boo or just a secluded place to gossip with your girls, the area offers private cabanas as well. Whoever you come with, make sure to come hungry because they have a full menu of delicious food, including deals like half-off fresh sushi after 10 p.m. They also have half-priced wine bottles on Wednesdays.
The rink will be open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight so you can party til the a.m. Tickets, which are only $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends, are not yet on sale but keep your eyes peeled on the Park Tavern website.
