The ABC Kite Fest is celebrating it's 90th anniversary this year in Austin. The anticipated kite festival returns on March 31st starting at 10 am at its usual location, Zilker Park. The magical celebration will feature a variety of new and traditional activities including live music, contests, fun runs and more.\nPack your kites, snacks, and pups for an exciting day at the longest running Austin festival. Register for your spot in the 2.1-mile fun run and have a blast making your way through Zilker's trails before reaching the finish line and kicking off the start of Kite Fest 2019!\nThere will be food and beverages for purchase on site of the event but you're also able to bring your own snacks and picnic items to enjoy while you relax with your high flying kites.\n@jaredpadaleckiembedded via\nLike every year, the Kite Fest is free for everyone to enjoy and have a great time at, but now there's an option to upgrade your experience with the High Flyer Club pass. This VIP pass gives you a reserved, premium parking spot, early access to the event, a catered breakfast and lunch, and entry into the tented, air-conditioned areas throughout the event. Passes go for $60 for individuals, $100 for couples, and $200 for 4. Parking Passes are $15 with a pass purchase or free with a purchase of 4 passes.\nThe Kite Fest is open for all visitors at Zilker Park, located at 2100 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704. Parking is first come, first serve unless you are a High Flyer Pass holder.
