Austin is a pretty big city, there's absolutely no denying that. Thanks to its size, it's no wonder so many big festivals take place here and this May, one will be taking place that's bigger than most. Austin's massive street festival is back this spring for another season of arts and crafts, live music, and much, much more!

The Spring 2020 Pecan Street Festival is kicking off on Saturday, May 2 and continuing into Sunday, May 3 for two days of street festival fun.

The fest will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Regardless of it being outdoors, rain or shine, it'll go on no matter what!

With so many festival cancellations these days, it's hard to get excited about one without worrying it'll eventually be canceled as well.

Have no fear, though, the Spring 2020 Pecan Street Festival is still set to go on. "The City of Austin has set an end-date of May 1" to their ban of mass gatherings of 2,500 or more.

Phew! That was close.

This year, the event will feature over 300 artisan vendors, 50 bands on three stages, food concessions, children's rides, and more.

Applications for both vendors as well as performers are closed which means everything is a done deal.

Each year the festival has a little bit of everything to shop around for, and attendees always leave with something special.

For themselves, their loved ones, you name it!

The event is free to attend and open to the public, both of which are major reasons to come out!

If you haven't been before then this year is the perfect opportunity to do so.
