SXSW 2019 just announced they will be hosting a new mass meditation event on the first Sunday of the highly anticipated festival. This 21+ event, named Pure Golden Hour, will feature special performances by Miguel, Bishop Briggs, and Cautious Clay at the Long Center for the Performing Arts on March 10. The sunset meditation event is free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis, with priority to all SXSW badge holders. This is the first year an event like this will be occurring at Austin's annual festival and conference SXSW. Pure Golden Hour, starting at 6 pm, will promote group mindfulness and relaxation through music and guided meditation. Miguel will be headlining the musical performances followed by Bishop Briggs and Cautious Clay. Guests can also enjoy snacks and drinks paired with the beats of DJ Captain Planet. And, of course, to enjoy the incredible voice of Grammy winner Miguel. The event is free to the public, so you'll want to RSVP on their event page as soon as possible to get your spot on the list. Entry is not guaranteed for non-SXSW badge holders so be prepared to arrive early. The Long Center for the Performing Arts is located at 701 W Riverside Dr, Austin. Arrive at 5 pm. The event starts promptly at 6 pm. @miguelembedded via Grammy-winner Miguel will finally return to Texas after the end of his 2018 "The Ascention" tour, but this time he will actually make a stop in Austin. He made it a ritual during his 2018 tour to lead a guided meditation session at the beginning of each show, making him a perfect headliner for this reflective SXSW meditation event. The SXSW conference and festival will last from Friday, March 8th to Sunday, March 17th. It's just around the corner, but there's still time to get entry badges so you won't miss out on some of the most exciting events of the season!
