The best part about this time of year is all of the Christmas light displays going up. Whether it's simply in a neighborhood, or at an actual Christmas event, seeing an area lit up with gorgeous, luminous lights is truly magical. If this is in fact your cup of tea, Johnson City, near Austin, will have millions of lights covering a corporate campus and the campus' surrounding oak trees. From Friday, November 29 through Saturday, January 5, Pedernales Electric Cooperative is hosting the 2019 PEC Holiday Lights at PEC's corporate campus. From 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday, you'll experience 1.3 million lights all in this one area. That many lights can make for some truly epic pictures and an overall amazing time. Once you park, you'll be walking distance from the main display. Now for the best part — there's a reason we've mentioned taking cool photos so many times, and it's because of the opportunity to win $100 if you use #PECHolidayLights in your social media posts! Make sure whoever accompanies you to the event is good with a camera and knows your angles. There's $100 on the line, after all.
